Beeping sound on call

Anyone else experience this beeping tone while on a call like you're getting another call or message but nothing is on screen. It's getting really irritating. Just about every call beep beep look at screen and nothing. What the crap.

So you aren't getting another call? Could you be getting some notifications?

Carrier? Does it happen on wifi calling?

Is the phone your calling/called by perhaps a Samsung? My bro has one, every minute it sends two beeps (like beacon tones) to my ear. It's the way his phone tells me to hurry up talking to him and end the call asap!

Phones used to have a feature that would beep every minute to let you know the minute was almost up.

My Xperia XZ does this and it's mildly irritating. I have never worked out what it is.

A periodic beep is one method under federal and various state laws that is used to notify a party that the call is being recorded. Probably not what you're experiencing, but...........
