Before I download iLife...

Well, not all of iLife. I only use iPhoto and iMovie for my website. I'm using 09' right now. My question is, and since Apple doesn't have a help section for this up yet, I was wondering if you guys knew...

If I download '11 iMovie and iPhoto and then have to restore my machine for whatever reasons will the App Store allow me to re-download '11 from the App Store?

Every time I've ever used Time Machine to back-up my computer it's restored with all kinds of problems. So I just back-up my iMovie Projects, iPhoto Library and iTunes folders.

This is the exact oposite to what I have experienced.

Have you had a look at Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper?

I haven't. Each time I have ever done a Time Machine back-up there is all sorts of things missing. This has happened to me on multiple macs, too. So I'm a bit leery of it. I'll give these a look into, thanks.
