I have just begun learning how to post process and I was wondering if any more advanced users would recommend a guide or two to learn the ins and outs of post processing. I will likely be using Aperture 3 so a guide that incorporates this program will be ideal. Thanks in advance for any help.
 
Understanding how to interpret the histogram is probably the most important aspect to image editing (IMHO)... and this does a great job of explaining it...

Once you understand what the histogram represents, you can easily understand how most critical image editing controls work just by observing what they do to the histogram.
