Beginners book photography

Very nice camera and i'm excited to get to know it.

Does somebody know a good book on photography for beginners?

I'd recommend "Learning to see creatively" and "Digital Art Photography for Dummies". Don't knock that second one, it's actually pretty amazing 😉

Another vote for Understanding Exposure. Explains the concepts really well, with nice pictures to reflect what is being talked about. Excellent book for starting out!

Canon 40D, not Canon D40. D40 is Nikon. Common mix-up. 😉
