Belkin Air Vent Mount Pro with MagSafe vs. Belkin Car Vent Mount with MagSafe compatibility

I have both of these to try out. I initially got the newer version that is NOT the “Pro” one because I thought it would work better with one of my cases.

I understand that the non Pro mount does not use the official MagSafe magnets. Is there anything I’m really giving up if I keep that one and return the Pro mount? I think I actually like that it’s lower profile. I read that Belkin was struggling to get the official magnets from Apple.

Can anyone chime in that has one of them? Am I overthinking this and it’s all just about the legality of using the “MagSafe” trademark?

Go on alternatives, like ESR Halolock or anything else on the market, they are all much better than Belkin mount

I disagree. Belkin sticks to my AC vent day one without issue. Never had to repositioned it. My other mounts all give me issues.

I have tried a ton of vent fixation, Belkin ones are the worst, the video says enough
Even if you still believe its stable enough, but trust me others models are much more stable
The ESR isnt absolutely the best but very stable (i would prefer the one with metal hook and knob for adjustment)
