I have a question about the USB3.0 ports on this Dock.

Is it possible if I connect a Transcend Jetdrive 825 SSD to the Thunderbolt1 port,
which I can then access from a Windows PC or a laptop via a USB3.0 port and copy data back and forth.

Thank you for Tips

No, you need a computer with a Thunderbolt port to connect the Jetdrive.

You may be able to add Thunderbolt to a PC or Laptop.

Or, remove the SSD from the JetDrive and place it in a USB to NVMe enclosure.

I have not yet found such a For NVME USB part where this special SSD with 12 + 16 poles
can be used.

This is just no ordinary SSD in the Transcend Jetdrive 825! Such USB enclosures are available for every other SSD, but not for the Transcend Jetdrive 820 (the name for the SSD only).

I would be very happy if you would recommend finding a suitable USB3.0 enclosure for it and then buying it.

That would be the easiest solution to remove this SSD Us from the housing 825 and into a USB3.0 housing and then to use it on another laptop and PC that does not have Thunderbolt.

Thanks for tips from you.

True. Most enclosures are made for the normal 2280 M.2 devices.

I looked at some adapters at

Is the SSD in the JetDrive AHCI or NVMe? Either should work when connected directly to PCIe (like Thunderbolt). But for a USB adapter, you need the USB bridge to match the type of SSD (USB to NVMe or USB to AHCI).

This one seems like it might work but I can't tell if it's AHCI or NVMe:

right my friend, for the link below. I bought the part 2 days ago at Amazon.de for 89 euros but it ONLY works with an original Sansisk SSD that is also built into the MacBook.

But not with the Transcend 820 (AHCI) and also not with the Transcend 850 (NVMe)
I have both models.
As already suspected it will be because the Transcen SSD has 11 + 15 poles
and the Sandisk has 12 + 16 poles.

No how do you get that These Transcend Jetdrive SSD the 820 and the 850 only
11 + 15 poles on one side, which is relevant.
See pictures here from the front and back.

I still have an orig. Sandisk SSD, with 128GB from a MacBook 2013 which
has 12 + 16 pins (poles) and which also runs in such a housing see link from Amazon.de
This work with orig. Sandisk from MacBook 2013 NOT with 11+15 Pin Transcend Jetdrive 820

I found a PCIe Thunderbolt1 / 2 card on ebay, for 25 euros, maybe it works in the PC under Win10 or maybe in my Hackintosh see link:
PCIe Thunderbolt1/2 Card

A Thunderbolt card might work. A GC-TITAN RIDGE might be easier to get working. You would need a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter to connect the JetDrive 825. I'm not sure if the Apple adapter has enough power for the JetDrive. If not, then you'll need a Thunderbolt 2 dock. Or you can use a Thunderbolt 3 PCIe expansion chasis like the Sonnet Echo Express SEL with a Apple SSD to PCIe x4 adapter.

If you can find an M.2 AHCI to USB enclosure, then maybe you can use the Apple SSD with a M.2 adapter and connect it to the M.2 AHCI to USB enclosure (the enclosure lid might not fit).

The one with the Adatpater TB1 to TB2 requires a USB-C Thunderbolt connection, which my iMac Late 2012 and my Hackintosh PC do not have, I had already bought such a thing from Amazon.de, for about 53 euros and because of not work then sent back again.

Check out my link above ... I already had one of those parts, but not because of the 11 + 15 poles on the Transcend Jetdrive 820 SSD all !!!! these parts ONLY work !!! with NVMe or AHCI SSD with 12 + 16 poles. Do you see we're going in circles!
There is apparently no USB solution, i.e. no adapter, where you can use the Transcend Jetdrive SSD 820 (AHCI) or 850 (NVMe) because of the only 11 + 15 pins instead of 12 + 16 pins that would have to be.
Transcend did this especially so that you ONLY have to use the Thunderbolt adapter.

My last attempt is this PCIe Thunderbolt card.

Your recommended card, I've read, you have to change something in the bios of the motherboard, which is even more complicated. The card I ordered only costs about 25 euros and if it doesn't work it throws the trash and is good.

TB1 and TB2 use the same cable. Do you mean TB3 to TB2?
I said that if you want to use a Thunderbolt add-in card, then the Thunderbolt 3 GC-TITAN RIDGE may be easier to get working. Only if you have Thunderbolt 3 that you need a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.

You said in a previous post that you bought a USB to Apple SSD enclosure from Amazon.de. Did you buy something else?

You said you bought an Apple SSD to USB enclosure. I said to try a M.2 enclosure (M.2 is not Apple 11+15 or 12+16). With an M.2 enclosure, you need an M.2 to Apple SSD adapter.

Another possibility is the OWC Envoy Pro - but it says it doesn't work with all Apple SSD drives, so it probably has the same problem: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MAU3ENPRPCI/

If your motherboard doesn't have a Thunderbolt header or Thunderbolt support in the BIOS, then that will also complicate adding the card.
