Belkin Expresscard Media Reader will not read SD card...

I am trying it out on my MacBook Pro 2.33 and it will not read my 1gb sandisk sd card. It does mounts my sony memory stick fine it's seems to be just the SD card...any advice? Thanks.
 
Ok I just received an email from belkin support: "Any SD card that is 1 gig or more will not detect correctly on our reader."
