iPod touch Belkin iPod touch 2g Leather Folio

Does anyone know if the Belkin 2g leather folios will fit a 1g properly.
It will, but it will be snug and will stretch the top and bottom connecting pieces. Which, after time, will cause your ipod to fall out of the case, and fly across the room if you happen to swing around, even slowly, with it open, 😱
