So. I'm looking at the Belkin N-52 (or, alternatively, the TE version of the same), and I'm wondering, specifically, if I can use it to control things like Expose and Spaces.

I'd be a much happier person if I had buttons for more of the expose/spaces functions (spaces is presently fn+F8, and I rarely remember what buttons are what for expose).

Also: I don't game hardcore enough to really justify purchasing this thing. If I could be assured that the n-52's buttons could also be used for things like expose, spaces, photoshop, reason, etc., etc., it'd seem like a much more practical investment to me.

Anyone here have any experience with the thing?

Hm. Looks good, but maybe not ideal. Seems like you'd really only have a few gestures to program...and probably not any more than a three/five button mouse? I admit it's a pretty foxy looking peripheral, though. 🙂
