wanted to give a quick review on this awesome stand

I wanted an all in one charger/stand for my iPhone 6 and new Apple Watch 2. I also wanted the magnetic charger to be includdd because I travel a fair bit so need the OEM charger loose to carry, didn't want to fiddle with taking it out of the casing whenever I needed to go somewhere.

Looks
Great looking stand! Silver/chrome finishing makes it look very "Apple". It's solid too, packs a lot of weight so I can lift my phone off or the watch without moving the stand all over. Padded feet prevent it from slipping on my smooth wooden bedside table

Function
- Does what it says...charges both devices. I have one less cord on the table and that's a win for me! Some other stands have a USB in the back which would allow you to plug in a peripheral. I agree that may be nice but then you'd have cables running around again. This is nice and clean and reduces clutter.
- It has a small adjustable dial on the back to raise the lightning cable up or down to accommodate cases. I have a very thin bumper case so it isn't an issue for me but those of you with big otterbox cases would be fine.
- There's a removable white ring on the way charger. This is meant for bands that are heavier like the metal ones so that it reduces the weight dragging the Watch off the charger. It works well even with my Moko silicone strap so I left it on.

Issues
- Some criticize it for not being able to use the nightstand feature. But to be honest the phone is right there and pressing the button once tells me the time, so that's an easy fix.
- My only gripe is that if the phone is on the stand and it vibrates, it amplifies the vibration and can be quite loud. I personally only put it on there when I'm going to bed so it's on DND mode by that time anyways but may be an issue for those using it in an office setting.

In all, wry happy with this stand. Belkin has the powerhouse stand out now but it doesn't look as premium as this, looks a bit too plasticy for me, but I'm sure functions just as well.

Good review. I bought one of these last year and I'm extremely pleased with the stand. Not cheap, but it's well made, elegant, and the only stand I'll need for the foreseeable future.

Saw this stand at the Apple Store. It is a nice one.

What screen protector do you have on your watch rayjay86?

I have the smaller watch only belkin charger and it's worked out great. It's even better since I got it for $25 on best buy's site a month ago. I was considering this dual charger but didn't like the large power brick.

I took a look at this at the Apple store, and it is a nice stand.

Too bad it's an Apple store exclusive, which mostly precludes it from any discounting, unlike the watch-only version mentioned above.

Maybe when it hits one of those "luxury" flash sale liquidation sites, as stuff like this often does.

If you're talking about the one I got, it will charge the iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time.

I meant the one the OP is reviewing, which in actuality is not named the PowerHouse like you have.

Belkin Valet Charge Dock for Apple Watch + iPhone (Belkin.com)
via Apple Store

It appears that one can actually get this directly from Belkin as well, not just Apple.

Belkin PowerHouse Charge Dock for Apple Watch + iPhone

Fry's has this for $70 today only, with promo code.

Watch Valet Charge Dock for Apple Watch

This has been down to as little as $15 from Best Buy, with a coupon code.

So it seems that it is possible to get the Valet (or the others) at a discount, when Belkin's site runs a promo. They have a student discount program (30%) as well, with verification. 90 day return period, too.

No screen protector. Just got my Best skins Ever protector, now I'm hesitating about putting it on haha
