I bought the "ipad 2" version at Target the other day...identical design but we'll see if it actually fits.

A coworker of mine told me there were some at a Verizon store near me. I don't know if they are really for the new iPad or if they have just out stickers on the old cases at Verizon.

Just swung by Target and got the snapshield for iPad 2...and like the other posters have said, it works fine on my iPad 3. It's a little tight but fits.

Purchased an iPad 2 snap shield secure today, fits my third gen just fine. It looks a little snug on the camera front but doesn't affect it.

i was reading reviews about this snap shield and people are complaining that the corner start to crack after a few weeks  , not sure whats up with thats

Just bought one today from Target. Works fine. Camera hole is plenty big enough.

Yes it does:D... Have one on now with a black leather smart cover.

Nice!
Does it lock on the back nicely? No unconfortableness with 2 hands on the back while the smart cover locks and rests there?
could you shoot a bit video and show the upside of the ipad when the smart cover is behind?(i want to see if and how much the smart cover sticks out of the ipad) without a case its about .5cm here.

Also does it fit the new ipad well or is it a kinda weird solution?(meaning can it fall out of the case or something)

Thanks!

Is the magnet on the back flush with the back or is it raised?

Also would like to know:)

The case has a nice grip. It's not glossy plastic where it'll easily slip out of your hands. It feels a little flushed. If I press on the back it moves a little bit. Nothing major though.

Also would like to know if the plastic has grip or if it's slippery.

I would say between slippery and a grip:(

Locks on the back very tightly ( impressed me). It fits the new iPad very well and does't look weird at all. Will post a picture of the upside of the iPad with the smart cover folded all the way back in a bit. You will see the cover doesn't show at all.
