    Hey all,

I was wondering what hard drives the MBAs had on display at MacWorld? SSD or normal HD?

Also has anyone got any benchmarks between the two HDs? and the overall laptop!

Don't know what spec to get!

    Thanks

I think I read on AppleInsider that the Apple staff said they were running the normal HDD.
And I think due to the lack of availability there is no benchmarks just yet.

Oh yeah, be prepared for countless people telling you it's overpriced and underpowered ;)

Slip is correct...only regular hard drive models are on display. They didn't have any stats to offer on the SSD models, and we won't get benchmarks until someone actually gets their hands on one.

Good find. In general, SSD's excel in random access and read but fall behind in write's.
So in real terms, booting up and loading apps will be a lot faster but copying a 4GB file will be slower than a standard HDD
