Well obviously this isnt true, the GM on my iPhone 5 is showing the transitions to be a little slow!!

Well on my iPhone 5 everything is MUCH faster than beta6, all you guys are running a benchmark that hasn't been updated for 7 yet try that SunSpider Benchmark it give higher values than iOS6 does

Im not running a benchmark. Im going by the basis that when I open up apps and close them it is NOT as fast as iOS 6! How do I know this? Well just recently I went back to 6.1.4 before I went to GM (clean install) and I definitely notice a difference!!!!! As for iOS 7 beta 6, I dont notice that big of a change in transitions!

Is the OS stable, and does it meet the needs of the consumer? To me, that is the bottom line not geek benchmark scores, which in and of themselves mean nothing.

What is odd, is seeing so many people state they can't stand this, that, or the other about iOS 7, but they keep using it. I think a lot of people here like to complain just because they can.

Synthetic benchmarks are not on any way indicative of subjective perception of OS performance. At all. You can have high CPU performance and still have a sluggish OS with slowly starting and closing apps. There's much more to performance than just CPU speed - NAND and RAM speeds, GPU power, resolution, bus bandwidth, all the stuff the OS is doing in the background...
