Or has it just been accepted as a side effect? Just worried about bending this thing.

Or maybe it’s really sensationalized... meanwhile I still see people complaining about the butterfly keyboard...

My iPP 12.9 64gb wifi-only still doesn’t have a bend.

Unlike butterfly keyboard, which is a serious thing, bend gate for this iPad Pro is kinda... user fault? I know that and I take extra care to not let my iPad Pro to be applied with excessive force. So far I do not notice a bend.

Had 2 people in my previous job who had a bent 3rd Gen Pro. Never saw any older iPad bent that extremely. Some out here tend to always blame the user, others the manufacturer. Truth as always is probably in between somewhere.

I had a boss that used to like to tell me to get bent... but never had a problem with my 11inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi only model.

I‘d say the irresponsive touchscreen issue is bigger but it‘s fixed in iOs 12.4 beta. Unfortunately it came back worse than ever in the iPadOS 13 beta. I‘ll give beta 2 a try to see if it‘s fixed again.

Edit: spelling

I keep my 11” ipad pro in a case, and it is perfectly fine. I do have the new ipad mini 5 as well tho...and i noticed it was seriously bent. I was walking around with it in my cargo pants pocket for a few weeks without a case, and it developed a noticeable curve. I mean VERY noticeable. Lol.

But i was able to apply pressure slowly with my fingers and thumbs on either side...and bent it back. Can’t even notice any bend anymore. Lol.

From now on i will keep it in a case. Especially if i will be carrying it in my cargo pants pocket.

My old iPad Pro 9.7 inch bent even when in a folio case, so I wouldn’t rely on it

My ipad mini 2 was in a case and i traveled around the world with it in my cargo pants...never bent. So once i get a case on my new ipad mini 5 i won’t worry at all.
