Hi, Im currently using LG 27UD68P 27" 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor (27" Diagonal) connected to my MacBook Pro 15 2017 retina since 2017 and it works excellent. Its the best monitor I have used with my MacBook pro, super high quality and performance is great.
It has never failed for me.
But I just sold it to a friend, so looking to get something latest and great in 2020.
My requirement is 32 inch - 10 bit - HDR - IPS or VA display will do.
I searched for it in LG, but LG only has 27 inch meeting my requirement.
Then I found this from BENQ.

BENQ EW3270U

Can someone confirm, who is using this monitor from BENQ with MacBook Pro and getting the perfect retina display high quality display ?

I mainly use it for editing photos and videos and I cannot compromise with display, thats the reason i stayed with my LG since last 4 years. Since my seller doesnt have return policy, so I wanted to see if anyone of you have used this BENQ EW3270U with MacBook pro and can confirm, its great, then i can just go ahead with the purchase.

Hi, I'm using one as of today, just moved from the 27" LG 27UK600. The Benq has a setting on it that mirrors the exact colours of your mbp's retina display. So far so good.

great ok!
Does it look exactly same high quality like MacBook Pro Retina display ?

Well, my eyesight is nowhere near perfect, but I'd say it was a pretty good match. That and the fact it's come down to £299/$380 I decided to take the plunge. Glad I have, the extra screen size is great. I've put the LG on eBay so definitely keeping it.

Text still looks crisp compared to the macbook retina screen?

I use the PD3220U at the moment. 31.5 inch with 4k will not give you a Retina experience, that would be 6k. I use the monitor with 3008x1692 scaling (that's the standard of the Pro XDR as it's half of 6k). Text is mostly ok but not as crisp as on a Retina screen. Especially in mail I do sometimes have problems reading fine fonts.

ew3270u has brilliant color accuracy and a very low delta point once you use the custom user mode to edit. if like me you need it for photo & vid editing primarily then its one of the best models with 32" 4k at this price point. they have also launched an upgrade to this ew3280u with slight high price as the usb c now supports PD which might be useful for those with portable Macs.
