On 3rd September 2015 I bought the iphone 6 plus which was quite expensive for a mobile phone but I thought it would be worth it. In a month's time it bent, all of a sudden. The telephone has no damage, it functions perfectly but it bears a small bend which it is obvious that no human hand could do it. I sent it to my carrier here in Greece (Cosmote) and they asked me 370 euros to fix it.

In Greece there is no apple shop where I could actually go and talk to an apple expert, so could you please advise me what to do next??

An iPhone just doesn't bend by itself, something obviously caused it to bend. If you take it to Apple, they will probably not repair it under warranty and will likely charge you. However, you can try Apple as they might be less expensive than your carrier. If you had purchased Apple Care Plus for the phone (I don't know if that's available in Greece), Apple would replace it for a deductible cost (much less than 370 euros).

Dear sender I do not understand what are you implying. Say, that I have put it in my back pocket and it bent, am I to blame? For a 1000 euro phone to bend in a back pocket is it normal and the user to blame? When the company Apple assure the customers of the very strong material the iphone 6 plus is made of why do not put instructions as treat with care or fragile item... Sorry I find your answer unfair and moreover if This is the policy Apple follow i believe there is a lack of respect to their customers

It is a known issue, unfortunately, that is why Apple made the 6S with 7000 Series aluminum and a stronger cover glass. What concerns your question. I would suggest contacting Apple Support by mail. It would not hurt. I am afraid you are left no other choice. Good luck!

Sorry, but it's not my answer as I have nothing to do with Apple. I'm only letting you know what to expect from Apple. Please don't "shoot the messenger". My advice is take the phone to Apple and find out for yourself.

I've had my 6 (not the plus) bent twice last year, probably from having it my pocket ;) but it's still annoying.

When it happened first they happily exchanged it for me in the Apple Store but not the second time, I argued with them for 15 minutes that the phone has been exchanged once before for the same reason but they just wouldn't do anything so I guess it depends if you get a nice person at your Genius Bar reservation or not, which might be risky if you would travel to let's say Germany to the closest one. Then on the other side Apple does offer phone exchanges for new ones for around £250 if yours is broken in any way but the price might vary depending on the model you have.

That's what I know from my experience, it'd also be helpful if you could call them up, or even complain trough Support to Customer Relations - they usually resolve issues quickly.

Some Apple Stores are willing to swap the phone out. Some don't. I would call Apple and talk to customer relations about this.

Why would you carry any electronic device in your BACK pocket and not expect damage. I don't think any device is designed for you to sit on it.
