Bent Over!

    Why are we in the UK got pay £949 for the cheapest new macbook when if i lived in the USA i could get exactly the same laptop for $1299. thats roughly £680 equivalent!

    I hate this fu**ing rip off country!

    I felt the same way when I went to London last month and had to pay the insane 17% VAT TAX on my Hotel, Food, etc :(

    Don't forget that the US price doesn't include Sales Tax, which varies from State to State.

    It doesn't equalise the price by any means, but it does close the gap a bit.
