I've searched through some of the forums this morning on Bento and I'm considering downloading the trial version when I get home tonight.

I'm a little curious about the interface into existing contacts and my calendar. I'm not sure that I'm clear on how it improves upon what comes with the OS.

I'd be interested to hear from those of you that have Bento and how you use it and your critique of the product.

    Thanks all!!

I tried Bento & found it worthless (or worse). My main complaints:

    1. It creates a single file for all databases. There is no way to share just part of your databases.
    2. It only imports .csv files, not tab-delimited, Excel, Numbers, AppleWorks, etc., etc.
    3. It only prints one record per page. Useless for labels.
    4. You can't even share the database between your own Macs.
I only see it as a "pretty face" for Address Book & iCal. I need to create multiple address databases & share just some.

Well there are other uses for Bento. Like inventory, project management, etc. Just download the trial and give it a try.
