Benutzer:Innen - Ventura is horribly gendered in the German translation

If you are interested in how to make the macOS Ventura German user folder pronounceable again.

Benutzer:Innen -> Users

The horrible gendered translation is easy to delete - the folder is then renamed to the english name "Users" ;-)

cd /Users
sudo rm .localized

There is a setting to set the preferred gender in System Settings, maybe it helps?

General -> Language & Region

That setting only applies to Spanish and Italian, as far as I know, and is only applied to dialogs or messages that are directed at the user. This German translation seems to be using gendered nouns in other contexts, such as to refer to a group of people (users in this case).

As it looks, the method I mentioned above is the only way to get the user folder not too gender specific.
I think it's a shame that Apple makes this so difficult.
