    He has a couple younger(compared to him and Charlie) managers working there now managing some of the portfolio that he admits are helping him understand some of the technology plays now. Before he stayed away as it was out of his area of expertise.


    He also likes investments that allow him to increase his position over time without having to put in any additional capital. Apple with the share buybacks and dividends allows him to go from, for example, 5% to 8% without doing anything.

    He doesn't need to hire expensive managers for that. Warren just needs 2 of his teenage grandchildren to teach him all about technology and how to use an iPhone. :p

    It’s a part of their succession plan so they were gonna get hired anyways.
