Uhm... How do I hook up my speakers to my iMac? I have 2 speakers and thus 2 cables. Each cable is black on one side and red on the other. Do I have to put them in an amp first? Then how do I go from amp to iMac?

There is a chance that if they are powered all you would need is an external soundcard, do your speakers have power cables running to them?

I also have the harman/kardon soundsticks and I must say its great. I'm no audiophile, but I love listening to music. It may not be as good as some other speakers, but I must say for this price range, this is one of the best. Looks good too! :D (Was designed by Apple so I heard)

I have nothing but good things to say about the Logitech Z623 setup.

I would consider myself a bit of an audiophile. The system has a great, clear, full sound. Excellent across the board. They're built very well. You have a power button, volume knob, and bass knob on the right (or left) speaker; very convenient and simple. AND you can get used/refurbs for well under $100.
