I'm in the market for a new, $400ish, 4k 27" monitor to sit beside my 5k Ultrafine. The market pretty saturated - LG has too many with subtle variations to keep track of! Does anyone have recommendations for one that has great color reproduction and as a bonus, is factory calibrated? I do web work, not print or photo so I'm not looking for, or can afford, a high-end model.

I have an LG 27UL850-W which is the big brother to the cheaper 27UL650-W. I haven't compared them side-by-side but the main difference appears to be that the former has a USB-C connector (PD compatible) that will provide up to 60W power to a smaller notebook (like the MacBook Air or 13" MacBook Pro).

Depending on what Mac you will be using to drive this second monitor, the less expensive 27UL650-W would seem to be a credible candidate.

You might consider purchasing from a bricks-and-mortar retailer that offers local pickup and a flexible return policy (I dunno, Best Buy?) so if you don't like it returning it won't be a hassle.
