Best 30" monitor for new MBP

I just got my new MBP. It will be replacing my 24" imac. I want a screen that is at least 24", but I figure that I might be better off with a 30" so that I can sell my 32" tv and use the monitor for movies and tv.

I don't need amazing color accuracy and I am not a gamer. I just want a good value (cheapest without sacrificing quality), and something that can handle HDTV and possibly bluray.

I see the Gateway XHD3000 for $1000 at newegg. Good deal? Any other suggestions for monitors? Any good deals out there that I should know about? Thanks!

You won't be able to use a 30" display with your computer for over a month. There are no adapters available yet.

and I guess that's not available for 4-5 weeks... and cost $99........ (I'm missing my Classic MBP dual link DVI built in already)
