Sorry, I'm not the type that asks questions like this, but since I live in Japan, any sort of international shipping will cost extra $40, which could be worth 2GB of RAM. Anyways, what are best RAMs for Macbook Pro 13"? I would like to ask for any amazon links (it's doesn't have to be from amazon.co.jp, because some of them are available in Amazon Japan. I can re-search for those RAMs.)

Upgrading RAM to 4GB

Just like the title says, is it better to have two 2GB RAM or one 4GB RAM? I was thinking that if I had one 4GB RAM, then when the time comes, I would just buy another 4GB RAM, and put it in the second slot. Any reasons not to?

A single 4GB DIMM will mean your CPU is running in single channel mode, which will cost you some performance.

Thanks for a real quick response fat jez!
I should have figured that out by myself.

From the little I could work out (my Japanese is non-existent 😱), either should be fine, although neither would be my first choice.
