Since Adblock is making Safari run very slowly in Mojave, any tips for other apps that do the same thing?

I use uBlock Origin. Fast and free and it's open source.

I've read good things about it. Although I don't use an ad blocker myself yet.

OK, here's what you do: Don't use a Safari add-on or plugin. Use the full blown Adguard for Mac (or Windows) app and it'll remove *everything*. It's amazing. I've used it for years!

Ok, I'm on the 14-day free trial of AdGuard. Really like it so far. Is it having a heavy effect on the battery given it's always on?

WiPR is the best, it only cost $1.99 but it is really good.

Another vote for Wipr. I use it on both MacOS and iOS and it works great.

Wipr as well. Work like a charm. Never had pop ups since I install it unlike Adblock who still unblock some things here and there for me.

Not that I’ve noticed but then again, I don’t use my Mac on battery very often.
