Hello,
TotalFinder doesn't work under El Capitan until user disables SIP. If I don't want to disable it, I can't use TD.

Can you recommend me the best alternative for TF?
Thank you.

Well, you aren't going to get the built-in functionality without disabling SIP. It is really no big deal––you aren't making your computer any less secure than under Yosemite.

The only replacement I can think of is Path Finder, but it's probably overkill and it is its own, separate app.

Path Finder has generally been great. Though the developer seems to have killed their forums en-leu of a ticket system so there doesn't appear to be much of an app-specific place for users to trade tips/tricks/scripts/work-arounds/complaints anymore.

I switched to ForkLift.

In some ways it is better (I like the single side bar a little more once I got used to it). The bad news is that it is definitely slower and it puts operations in a cue. So if I start a large copy, then try to do a small one with little files on another drive, those little files won't copy until the big operation is finished. Also, it doesn't have the same level of access that Finder does, so you sometimes have to return to Finder to install something.

Yeah, I'm bummed that TotalFinder can't be implemented with SIP on too.
