Here at me Mac
If you start up your video ...then grabber...go to top bar and select selection then window ...just make sure the cursors in a corner...it does a fair job
heres one ive just done of a movie ive got

Then of course if you just wanted the frame you would need to go to grabber again and just select the image

Method, because the old free grabber won't work under Lion. I opened each clip in QT, dragged the slider to the shot I wanted, then copied it to the clipboard and into preview for saving. GRRR It all came out okay, but it was on really old digital tape.....Just making the film was a pain! But it was for a friend:)
