No problem at all. It takes a little bit to set up especially if you're doing a 5 day split or something like that. But once it's done it's great. I've set it up so I tap on the circle to show that I've completed the set and tap on the weight if I need to make an adjustment ...like if I don't manage all the reps. It can count down your intervals between sets and between exercises. I actually leave my phone in the locker now so I get peace at the gym.

The other bonus is that the developers are very active. It gets regular update. Unlike some other fitness apps

I'm going to have to look into this app as I've never actually worn the Watch to the gym before.

Thank you for posting!!

Gymaholic is quite literally the best Apple Watch App there is. So simple and easy to use but also very powerful when it needs to be. It's certainly helped my gym routine. Wouldn't hestitate to recommend it to any gym going watch owner and even though I probably didn't need the pro version I paid for it anyway because development like this should be rewarded and also encouraged so that it continues into the future.

Question for Gymaholic users.... how do you create multiple sets of a workout? I am planning to use it for my strength training workout where I do about 6 different exercises (1 set) and then want to repeat the entire workout another 2 times or so. Is there a way to program it through the Gymaholic app so it will auto-push to my Apple Watch? Thanks!

+1 for gymaholic. They have a big update coming according to their twitter

Gymaholic is well, but its premium is a bit expensive for me (34€ a year...). The free version is great but I only miss that watch app shows an image or explanation of the exercise. I am not an expert so I am not sure if I am doing the correct one.

Any other app???? Strong either has info or image...

I don’t know if you can set 6 exercise sequently and repeat that sequence 3 times. What you can do is manually add 6 of 1 set, and another 2 times, add that 6 excersise of 1 set.

Then any workout can be transferred to the watch pushing on workout’s button.

I don't track with the watch as it's so fiddly, plus, I change the workout on the fly according to what equipment is being used/free in the gym. Gymaholic has a very difficult way of tracking HR with the watch but using the phone (my preferred way). It's still the best gym app out there but it needs an update so you can set it in 'heart rate read mode' from the watch and use your phone to build your workout as you go.

Gymatic seems to be not bad too, although since I am not a big fan of subscription based apps I just tried the free version once in the gym. Is anyone here on a subscription plan and can tell a little bit more about the app? Is it worth the money?

Gymatic seems to be the best one because it auto detects the exercise. But it has two problems. Is a subscription based app (which I hate) and it is only in English, without images or exercise description. Although it was in Spanish, I wouldn’t like it because some exercise Names are completely meanless for me and need a description or a picture. I cannot tell you about premium features.

Maybe after iOS 12 and trial apps mode we can see much more options.
