Best App for Recording Audio??

I'm a performing artist and I'm wondering what are the best apps for recording Audio??

Garageband is very capable, and allows syncing of projects between iOS and OS X and the ability to collaborate with friends!

I presume you are using an external mic connected to your iPhone/iPad.

Have you looked at iRig, however I prefer to use a dedicated recorder like the Zoom series rather than the iPhone.
