I heard iCam is pretty good... Any others that are better? Thanks.

This will be used to login to a webcam at my home.

AtHome Camera?

I have seen this app (AtHome Camera), which does what you need, and it looks really good, but I can't get the Server side working on my iMac.
I have a Timecapsule that is acting as my router and the uPnP is Enabled, but the autosetup does not work and if i add a port mapping it still do not seem to be able to link to the iMac.

Really disappointed as this app looks good, and i am sure it is just me being dumb.

If anyone else has this and has got this type of setup i would REALLY appreciate some guidance.

Thanks,

PD

I like Live Cams because you can add your home cam but also other webcams.

ports

Just to let you know that i got this working (just changed ports!?!).

Seems really good, used it over wifi and it is really quick.
Used it over 3G and edge and both work as well as i could hope, slightly jerky, but not sure you can expect more really.
You can also click a button and record which i really like.
There is a test version - which has the record but only works for a few seconds and a lite version (what i am using), which works full time, but hasnt got the record (but it is only 59P :) ).
The full version is about £5 if i remember correctly, which seems a little steep, I think i will hope for a sale before picking it up, although i like the record function and the motion detection sounds interesting too.

Ohh well, just my input, hope it is helpful.

Are there any apps that save the video online? I remember I used to use a webapp to see my webcam and the video was saved online. I would want to record if anyone breaks into my house but I am sure they would steal the computer the webcam is connected to and I would loose the video.

AtHome Camera

Hi, AtHome Camera appears to say it does exactly this (using motion detection) but I have never tried it so cannot say how it works.
