I was going to use dvd2onex but if there is encryption, wont there be problems extracting my movies to my harddrive?

i was using dvd2onex with fairmount, but fairmaount was slow and everytime i used it dvd2onex was using the dvd at the same time and it caused problems,

so

if dvd2onex will work by taking off the encryption of my movies then i will just use that!!

I have not tried DVD2OneX to rip a DVD.

Rather I use MTR to rip the entire DVD to HD, then use DVD2OneX to shrink it to DVD5 blank size. DVD2OneX works great for this function.

OK, I use Wondershare DVD ripper. The free version puts a watermark on the rip, so I spent the $40 not have it. I have not had any issues with security/encryption on a couple hundred dvd rips. (long story)
