Unless I'm missing something, Apple itself offers no built in way to stream iTunes content (music, movies, photos) from a Mac to an iPad, like it does for streaming from a Mac to an Apple TV. So, until they build that in, what is the best app to use to stream all my iTunes content to my iPad?

Most are free or have lite versions for you to test yourself! 😀

***bit off topic***

Any app that could stream from NAS (Network Attached Storage).
Could play most video format as well.
Thanks for all the recommendations...

+1 Should've mentioned Plex from the start with my other three, good call

Plex costs $4.99 and will require setting port forwarding on the router, and probably DynamicDNS.

For a paid app., AirVideo does better video streaming over WiFi and 3G. No router config required.
