There are so many choices and im not sure which is best.
I want to hide activator and dashboard x icons to clean up the springboard as they can be both used in settings.

Could anyone experienced please help? If this is too general please trash this thread.

You can turn off the Activator icon within Activator itself (very bottom of the screen, Show Icon). You'll have to respring after changing that setting.

Hmm i dont seem to have that option. Strange.

Just in case other people find their way here....you wont see the hide icon option until you install the Cydia package libhide. After it's installed you'll then have the show/hide option at the bottom of Activator.
 
I use HideMe8 to hide unwanted apps, icon dock labels, dock background, spotlight, page dots, custom carrier text and other features.
