What a deal
That must be a G7 processor in there -- gotta get me one of those!
what r all those numbers$$$$?
x 2, I need a spare
with free shipping... thats one heck of a deal...
ok guys, should I get this or an iBook? slight price difference, but is it worth it?
Only if you go for the extra RAM but it could be worth waiting until Tiger comes out...
*weeps with the sheer repetition of it all*
Oh dear god! Must...get credit card out....too excited to punch in the number......I'm panacking......oh no now the keyboard is covered in sweat and shorting out! once in a life time deal lost.......nooo
lol seeing that made my day
Too bad Amazon.com doesn't offer one of those "if you find it cheaper somewhere else within 30 days, let us know and we'll refund the difference plus 10%" deals... you could make out like a bandit. 10% of $97,000 (the likely difference) would be a cool $9,700 in your pocket, PLUS your Powerbook.
as long as you make sure to buy the RAM from Amazon as well... you figure if Amazon is saving you a bit of money on the notebook you might as well give them the order for the "higher-margin" memory
Edit: thanks for sharing - that was pretty funny.
The depreciation of the US dollar is amazing ....
Hey, just think of all the Amazon Reward Points you rack up... 299,999!
How bizarre haha
No wonder people think Macs are more expensive. Why just a few weeks ago, you could buy a Sony with a P4 for $100 (also a price mistake, but it was funny).
Doesn't Amazon put that price in when the product price hasn't been determined yet? I remember seeing this before.
I gotta get me one of these! Just look at the savings!
Woah... that's a huge price jump from the previous PowerBooks, and all you get is a few extra MHz, slightly larger hard drive, a fancy scrolling trackpad and Bluetooth 2.0.
That's over $24,000 per new feature!
Oh you just wanted the $30 discount for using your card!! You're just trying to pinch every penny aren't you?
Next time I'll buy from Amazon instead of direct from apple. Im beating myself up over missing this deal.
at that price i'll take 2
I have one of those that I use to pay for work expenses, $10-$12K per month. I get a $25 Amazon gift certificate for each $2500 spent. I have 19 of these suckers sitting around.
Time to remortgage the Ant farm....Oh that was bad! Time to take my pills...Sorry!
New PB G7s next week!
