I wonder how old the panels are in some of those Samsungs. They are either a "A" or "B" variant of something devised in late 2020.

I'd be all over that 16" MBP if I didn't already have one! Great deal on a fantastic computer.

For those interested in the Samsung T7 2TB SSD drive that is currently $159 at Amazon, it will be $150 at Costco starting 2/1 through 2/15. I have had good luck with that drive.
I ordered one earlier today. I already have 3 other T7 ssd, but the largest capacity of those is a 1TB which cost me $159!!!

Are they allowed to say "SB" word?
Macrumors put it in its ad there. Samsung doesn't use it if you click on the link. By the way, in Europe it has to say this is an ad and not an article. How about in the US?

I might have to jump on that one… but I don’t even see that item listed at Costco at regular price, just the “touch” version so far. Where do you get these future item listings? Or is this a regional thing?

Pretty sure I saw it on Slickdeals. The T7 is the touch version. You aren't required to use that functionality if you don't want to use it. That drive is currently $219 at Costco.

Racketeering – a type of organized crime in which the perpetrators set up a coercive, fraudulent, extortionary, or otherwise illegal coordinated scheme or operation (a "racket") to repeatedly or consistently collect a profit.

Apple abandoning old hardware with the latest versions of their OS is the definition of racketeering. You'd be crazy to buy any hardware from Apple that is over a year old.

With OpenCore Legacy Patcher, it's obvious that abandoning old machines has nothing to do with the resources necessary to support them, nor any BS about degraded user experience.

Wow, that is a good discount. However, I don't think the T7 refers to the touch version only. This drive pictured in the article is the non-touch version on Amazon for $159, not sure if it was discounted more in the Gold Box Sale which seems to have expired. Still, $150 is better than $159, so it looks like I'll be stopping at Costco on Wednesday.

Just saw this at Costco. $250 off on a Mac Studio with M1 Max (along with $200 off the Studio Display)? Could new M2 Mac Studios be on the way?

…Hoooold on a minute, what we know of Tim Cooks Apple… They do NOT hold inventory this big, to run quite big discounts since the fall.

They are actually making the M1 products to sell at discount because of the market downturn. Consumers not buying their new wares but M1 are considered a steal at 500$ off…

I would like to see if they are cutting corners with cheaper components. (more likely they are getting steep discounts in China)

What are Apples margins on the M1 macbook pro? Is this known?
