The time has come to upgrade my kids' laptops. They both want the 13" MBA. I want them to get the M3 (to future proof them a bit) but should I get them the 16GB RAM or the stock 8GB? One's in high school and the other in middle, and I don't imagine them needing too much horsepower, but I worry about minimum requirements for AI.

Between Apple's edu promotion and Florida's sales tax holiday, the time is now.

How come Apple's education store pricing is never mentioned? Not only are the prices better than most “sale” prices, but you can get 3% instant cash back plus pay over 12 months at 0% interest when using Apple Credit Card. It’s a no brainer that doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves. Oh, they don’t ask for any proof of being a student.
