So about a little over a year ago I got an amazing deal on an Apple Nylon Band for my watch. I wasn’t going to by a different band but I got such a great deal on it as it was clearanced our at Walmart. I absolutely love(d) everything about the band, but 3 nights ago it broke. Since I can’t get that clearance price again I’m looking for an equivalent quality Nylon Band that I can purchase. Please let me know if you have a third party Nylon Band and which one it is if you like it. I knew I should have bought all 3 they had but didn’t want to be greedy.

I get a little nervous when it comes to third party bands as I’ve heard horror stories of people’s bands coming unhinged or randomly breaking not too long after purchasing so I want to make sure I get a good quality reliable one.

Thanks in advance!

How exactly did it break? I would do as Twanj suggested and see if Apple will replace it. That’s really unusual.

I have several third party bands that I’ve worn for between one and three years. None have broken, but the $20 leather loop knockoff I bought made it about a year before it started to peel and not look so good. I have a knockoff woven nylon that I bought at Best Buy. The brand is Modal. I don’t know how it compares to the real thing. I like it just fine, but the size I got for my 38/40mm barely wraps around my wrist. There are cheaper knockoffs online, but I had some Best Buy credit at the time. I just checked and they are on sale, but limited size and color for $8.99. Worth checking out at that price so you can decide if the Apple version is worth it to you. Hopefully they will replace your existing band though.

I like looking around BestBuy and Target. Some of the online electronic stores you can find them too. Amazon will discount Apple stuff when its no longer available. I found a smart cover for under $20 which is a win. I got it right before Apple discontinued them.

Some of the youTubers will show you some 3rd party bands.
