Over the past year I have become a pretty big IRC junkie, spending a lot of time checking out various servers and channels on the web. I was just curious if there was any channels that the users here were active in that are Apple related. Please list channel and server. It would be fun to talk to some of you on IRC and get to know ya'll a bit better.

#macrumors on freenode*! 😀

WTF is IRC? 😉

Is there a mIRC like client for OS X? I've only used the Java MR client during Keynotes.

I don't personally like mIRC, and there are better clients out there. Irssi is a personal favorite of mine on Linux, so when I get my powerbook I will get MacIRSSI. Seriously consider MacIRSSI (http://www.g1m0.se/macirssi/).

I've always used IRCle, but not necessarily because I tried everything else. It's just what I used first and is very similar to mIRC.
