Best apps in the app store??

So I just brought home a refurbished MacBook Pro yesterday. 😀 My previous computer (iBook G4) wasn't capable of running Snow Leopard, so this is my first time having the App Store on my laptop.

Are there any really fun/useful apps I should know about?

I like iSplash. It was 99 cents when I got it. Turns a photo black and white and you use a brush to make parts of it color. Fun playing around with.

I use Alfred and Evernote - Alfred as something of a Launchpad/Spotlight replacement, and Evernote for storing links, notes, things I find interesting.
