Best authenticator app for macOS?

Authy for desktop is dead now, so I'm looking for another 2FA solution.

On AppleSilicon Macs, you can load the iPad app of Authy.
Its not pretty, but it works.

Take a look at the password manager KeePassXC. It has a Timed One-Time Passwords (TOTP) feature. Make sure that you use two separate databases for 2FA and regular passwords to benefit from the 2FA security concept.

I use Keepass on Windows, so this is great! I never knew that there's a version that's compatible with macOS 😅

I am okay happy with Authy. I especially like their Apple Watch app, which makes things so much easier. It does have a clunky interface otherwise, but at least it is so simple that it doesn't come in the way of working.

Agreed. It's the one I use, been using for a bunch of years.

However, as OP mentioned, no longer works on Mac, so unless OP wants to just use iOS/iPadOS versions (which is what I do since phone is always near by), will need some other app.

I think that Step Two is a great 2FA application. For iOS and macOS.
