I dunno why no one on these forums ever mention the Eizo S2231W and Eizo S2431W.

Perhaps they are too pricey in the US?

I don't know about the bang part - but bang for buck doesn't seem to be attractive - that is too pricey. I can buy a Mac Mini and Apple 24" LED for that price!

dell has got to be the way to go, also affordable enough I think that if you wanted to go x2 or x3 you could achieve that as well

Get an Eizo monitor. Think of all the money you would be saving from not doing hard color proofs :D

cluthz, Eizo 24" is about $1200 here in Obamaland.

From order from expensive to cheap.

Eizo 24", Lacie 324, Dell 24", Gateway FHD2400.

Why gateway? Cheap and crap load of inputs. PC, Mac, PS3, Xbox 360 and wii on one monitor.

Strange, it used to cost 6000NOK (750 USD) here same as the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP. (Apple Cinema LED 24 costs 7900NOK here (988 USD)
When I did a search at the shops now, there only Eizos, store that had them, guess they are out of production, because they were really good value for the money, atleast here.
Prices tend to be quite abit higher here than in US.

another vote for the acer from me, it is an awesome monitor and I use it with my macbook pro, desktop and cable box and it is amazing for a sub $200 monitor.
