I ended up getting a boost case (although it wasn't marketed as such) off ebay from a hong kong vendor. Looks IDENTICAL to the one my colleague ordered from ebay. same exact case, inside sticker is different but only missing a model number. Works the same, works great, only 20$. Been using it a few days now and it works great. For the money, it can't be beat.
