The title says it all. The iPad pro has the best battery life in any iOS or Apple laptop I've ever used period. I've been using the iPad pro for a week now and I've noticed how I didn't have to charge much, so recently after my last full charge I've decided to use it as I normally would till the battery life is at 10% then screen shot the usage.

Most videos I've watched is through Safari, most of my time is spent in Safari reading, browsing, posting on forums etc. I am truly impressed with the level of performance from the iPad pro. I've gotten 17 hours usage on a single charge before it reached 10%. Space gray 128gig wifi model.

Post your battery life experiences.

What model do you have? Mine is terrible I charged it 100% went to bed woke up it was at 65% I have the LTE model

In the few days since I owned the iPP the battery performance is similar to my iPad Air 2. Not as good as the Air 1 which was excellent.

This is definitely not normal. If I had to guess, your LTE signal is not good (even if you have a full bar) and is wasting battery power.

I have the Cellular model and the battery life is excellent, but I have LTE switched off most of the time (Not Cellular mode, just the LTE option - it's in 3G. I turn on LTE only when I need some extra speed. Still, even with LTE, no way it would go almost 40% during just one night of standby. With such a large battery and screen off, it probably shouldn't change even 1% during that time. That has been my experience so far.

I set mine up as new when I first got it and it's been acting funny dang thing freezes up does some odd stuff I may have a bad one

Please include the brightness level you use! Helps to put the battery life into perspective.

And I find 59% of Safari usage not a good example for battery life. How about running a game 25% of the time and maybe Office and Procreate for 50%. Would give a better picture about the battery life instead of static surfing.

So far the battery life was good but it certainly didn't blew my mind. I got a 128 GB Wifi model. However I always use 100% of brightness and don't just surf with it. So battery usage is maxed...

In fairness though a lot of people will mainly use it for surfing.

my battery life on iPad Pro is magnificent as well, in comparison to iPad Ait 2.
Too soon to make it stick - only 2 recharge cycles for me, but so far I'm getting 16 hours of active usage, including heavy usage of LTE. :)

Last I checked mine was at 30% and on 13 hours of usage with 65 hours of standby. And that was yesterday in the morning. As of last night it used it for another 3 hours just to kill it so I could charge it.

I'm going to see around 17 hours as well for my usage. I don't game on this thing, if I do I would expect less.

Did I read correct someone is using 100% brightness always. How do you still have eyes left in your head? I can barley use it at 10% sometimes.

Screen brightness is on auto, my iPad is used at different times of the day in different levels of brightness. I don't expect to use the iPad at one brightness setting all the time. I also do not play games or use office. I said what I've used it for. Surfing the web, videos and reading. I'm not going to purposely use apps I do not use or have no need for. Everyone usage is different, this is how I use my iPad.

With screen brightness at 50% and location services on, 12-14 hours of Internet use on my Pro is easily obtained. The screen is so bright that I never turn its brightness up past 50% even in a bright room. I'm using the iPad Pro normally am not trying to compromise his performance to conserve battery life. This is a direct opposite of what I've had to do on my Samsung tab S tablets. They were always in battery saver mode, no location services, with the screen down to ridiculously low levels just to get six hours of life out of them.

The iPad Pro is now my "gold standard" of battery life of any tablet or iPad before it. It really is that good.

I had my wife use it for a day for just browsing etc. I think I had my best battery stats so far. View attachment 601221

I still can't believe how good the battery life is. This shows how well iOS and Safari is optimized for the iPad pro. I have so may apps open at the same time and non ever reloads, Safari never reloads. Multitasking is on point, split screen, slide over, everything. I'm impressed at every turn with this device, more than I have ever been with my original iPad and iPad mini. This is indeed a gold standard in my book.
