I don't get all the hate for the AW. Ok, I think it's a total waste of money, it looks kinda ToysRus and until Apple come up with some kind of killer app, it ain't ever replacing my mechanical watches. Even then it probably won't replace them, but augment them.

Some people think the Apple Watch is worth the money. And that's good. It's not for me, but it's good for others.

Really, I had the classic band, could not smell any leather, you have the loop . I might give the loop a go, how are the magnets?

I had to get used to it because the magnets shift slightly here and there. I got used to that pretty quickly though and now I think it's one of the most comfortable watch bands I've ever worn. Another plus is that it has a very distinctive design which looks great with both formal and informal wear.

Cheers for that. Yeah, I'm impressed with how it wears. Looks a lot better when you see it in the flesh

You are correct. It's one product that you either click with and love, or see as being kind of pointless . I don't think people as such hate it, they just don't see the need for one. People who think it will replace mechanical watches are the delusional ones in my opinion. I have one I use at times, maybe once a week depending on the activity. My perfect combination is a mechanical watch with a sports band, my Microsoft band is far superior in terms of fitness to the AW, and takes care of the notifications.

The bitterness can be tasted all the way over this side of the pond.. Let it go man.. Its not worth it.. Lame-ass comments with no substance just to get likes.. Jeez..

Name one sucessful Google product the from the last 10 years.

Everything that Google started making since 2005, there's someone making it better.

Has anyone actually seen the Watch at Best Buy? What is the setup like?

Ok, I'll bite, name one successful product.. Whether somebody makes something better (subjective) doesn't matter.. Success is counted by numbers of users as they are a software company.. Erm.. Ever heard of Android.. 80% global coverage.. Shall I go on, or have I crushed your argument.. I'll go on.. YouTube.. Pathetic is a term best used for you hatred towards anytjing mom Apple.. Do yourself a favour.. Take a step back, have a breath.. I'll let you into a little secret, this company you are defending to the hilt, they don't care about you one jot. They want you money, you are a receipt in a cash register, the same as all of them
..

Just a little FYI—I know there's been a lot of talk about the AW not appearing to those under 30, but lately I've been getting all kinds of compliments by 20-somethings. They look at my watch and say, "I want one!" Today I was told by one young guy, "I get energized every time I see one. It's so clutch!"

In stores, older customers barely notice me using the watch to pay, but the 20-somethings all ooo-and—aww, and want to know how I like it. :) So, maybe, just maybe, we'll be seeing the watch purchased as Christmas or graduation gifts to those a bit younger than us first adopters.

Pictures or it didn't happen.

Seriously, anyone with pictures of a real Best Buy setup?

You can't buy an android. You can buy a cheap phone that runs android; there is a difference.

Are you for real.. Android isn't successful because they don't sell it.. Jesus Christ.. I think I'm going to go next door now and hit myself in the face with a hammer, I bid you good night.

Sure, even though this has deviated from BB sells AW; android has the market because a large percentage of manufacturers use android due to the price and produce cheap hardware and se it cheap. There is a difference between market share and profits where Apple has a large chunk of profits for its measly 20%.

Who said anything about profits.. The original statement was that Google hasn't done anyrhing successful in the last 10 years.. And with of boring myself.. 80% global market share begs to differ.. This is getting tedious now, don't bother replying

Market share without profits is the point. Goggle is very successful, and androids success is based on second tier adoption. And the market share reflects the price.

Are you on some sort of mind bending substance.. Is Android successful yes or no, no conditions, no caveats, nothing. Just a simple yes or no. What is your answer..

Really love the insults they go well with the terms of service of this site. But go for it.

The question is not is android successful, the question is is it widely used/widely known/widely supported/widely distributed because of the price. Just like I wouldn't call iOS "successful". Vendors who use android are in a race to the lowest profit margin; if that is your definition of success.

As a last ps, are chrome, Gmail, ios, safari, explorer etc all non successful because they are not sold for profit direct...

Nope, go back to my first entrance into this farcical debate.. The exact quote was "Google Havnt done anything successful in the last 10 years".. Simple as that, notjing about profit, purely is it successful or not, end of.. You seem to have brought in all sorts of caveats, the usual profit margin rubbish when facts are getting in the way etc.. Do you hate Mercedes as much if u drive a Beemer, or LG because you have a Sony tv, ? Such a bizarre way for one to lead their lives...

Right I agree with what you are attempting to show. I don't call android successful any more than the steering wheel on a Mercedes. You can't buy either but both are popular by virtue they are widely used in products that are popular.
