Best Buy Exchange Question

Ordered an Apple Watch from Best Buy and it shipped yesterday. Now I'm wanting to go with a different band (same cost). Has anyone exchanged the band only before? Or will they make me return everything and re-purchase?

Are the bands packaged with the watch in separate individual retail packaging? If so, I believe an exchange should be painless. Any experiences with this?

I'm going to bet that Best Buy will not allow a band-only trade because the band that came with the Watch is part of the whole package, not a standalone retail band.

Yeah you’re probably right. I guess I want to know if the band that comes packaged is in a individual retail box.

Not sure about Best Buy, but Apple specifically told me both this year and last year that changing the band would mean a return/re-purchase.
