the BB manager at my store I'm snagging the X mentioned shipments nor inshore pickup will see movement until mid week as the phones come from Apple to BB to their target destination store you choose for pickup. My SNES CE and NES CE both thru BB did the same thing for inshore pickup I saw motion day before on the little status bar and then launch day got the email to come get my **** at 10am and received it hours before BB opened so it was torment some lol

I’m a Best Buy Mobile employee for over 2 years so I can chime in on this.

The company recently overhauled their cellphone pre-order system beginning with the Note 8. Before we weren’t able to guarantee a date for customers to come get their phone, but with the new system customers are now given a “Get it by” date and those dates have proven accurate with the Note 8 and the iPhone 8.

So I feel confident that the date you’re given should be the date you’re receiving your phone, if there aren’t any truck shortages or DC shortages. Those would be unforeseen circumstances that could affect any company.

Thanks for the info as this was my first time ordering an iPhone through Best Buy’s website.

In speaking to my local Colorado store the ones in Colorado are not opening early for the iPhone X launch. Normal 10am to 8pm hours out here FYI Id certainly check your local store tho as sometimes they do things differently
