Who killed the competition? Are you suggesting that Best Buy put stereo stores out of business, computer stores out of business and more? Who and what do you mean by competition and killing. It is easy enough to make sweeping grandiose statements but even a hint of some facts would be nice. (Please understand, I am not trying to be sarcastic or insulting but looking for discussion).

no they didn't, amazon and other internet stores killed the competition.
Other than Amazon who they price match. Best Buy typically has the lowest price unless you're talking hdmi cables and such. Please explain.
I went for the macbook pro deal for a good price. If they come out with a better one soon I may just buy that too.
