I just bought 2 of those iPads yesterday at Best Buy![]()
Update: Many prices for the 11" are being dropped even lower (didn’t check 12.9").
Almost all configurations are now $200 off, except the 64GB Wi-Fi which is now $150 off. That means the 64GB Wi-Fi + LTE went from $125 to $200 discount. The 256GB versions went from $150 to $200 discount. Etc.
Again, Amazon seems to be sporadically excluding certain configurations from the sale at different times of the day (such as one color or the other). Whereas Best Buy always seems to offer the discount consistently across both Silver and Space Gray colors. It was also easy to get BB to price match the lower price for existing orders.
I did not receive a confirmation email, the guy on the phone said I should. HmmmI just called the
+1-888-237-8289 and they credited me the difference today.l just got the email..good to go..
I believe you will have to pay a restocking fee. What is BB policy on returning an opened iPad within 5 days of the purchase?
Ahh okay.I believe you will have to pay a restocking fee.
On paper it makes sense. From a needs perspective it doesn't. I believe the restock fee is $35 - $50 since it is opened. I haven't checked their site in a while.Ahh okay.
I mean I don’t need the 256gb 12.9 iPad, I have 14gb used of 64. But for $100 more... meh
I saw $35 for the iPad Pro 11.On paper it makes sense. From a needs perspective it doesn't. I believe the restock fee is $35 - $50 since it is opened. I haven't checked their site in a while.

Correct.I don't believe there's a restocking fee unless it's a cellular/LTE model.

Technology should get less expensive as it matures, not more expensive.
You’re incorrect. (And I’m assuming you don’t won’t work supplier relations either.) It depends on the component cost and if it’s proprietary for that specific manufacturer where they control the market if no other manufactures are producing that specific product or technology. Case being OLED for LG as one example. Cost of technology doesn’t have to reduce if it matures or not, it depends if there are multiple suppliers that can meet the demands for hardware constraint. If the manufacturer controls the components for specific technology/hardware, technology _doesn’t_ have to reduce in price.
