annoyingly, this was the type of colour scheme I’d been waiting for but I’m outside of the US so I guess I’m out of luck 😓😓😓

It probably not what you want, but you can always buy a skin for it. I’ve seen some that are almost identical and of not, slightly better. And of course you can change it up as well.

Good to see that there is no premium for the new colour.

The colours aren't exactly new or exclusive, my wife's Beats Studio 3 have the exact same colour combination.
