I made a mistake earlier. I need the 15-inch model and not the 13-inch model. The thing I need to know is this: If I buy from Adorama can I return if for example the machine won't boot or it's not the configuration advertised or there is something wrong with the screen?

Good point. If they price match even though I would pay taxes I would get 18 months to pay with no interest. Something to think about. Adorama site says it's card is zero % for 12 months. Reading further it's a Comenity Bank card which has a reputation for granting low starting limits. They could approve me but not the whole $2099. But I guess part of bill financed coupled with no taxes could be worth it. Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!

You made a good point. If they approve a lower amount then you would be in a problem. If I were you I would buy it at Best Buy being a rewards member. This way you don't have to go thru credit checks & new card process.

Here is another money saving tip for you. If you call Best Buy & do a price match with adorama and order it online you can get a $70 cash back too from Retailmenot. Use the below link and navigate to Best Buy site and order them.

Yipeeee!!! Forget Best Buy! I need the savings. As far as not being able to return, I won't return unless it's something wrong with it out of the box. In that situation it couldn't be returned?
Don’t think can be returned. They make you deal with Apple Repair. Also, don’t think BB does price match on every online retailer.

Ok sounds like I should Adorama off my list but I'm glad I can use them to lower price at Best Buy.

Ok I checked with Best Buy. They will not allow use of student discount with price match. That is so crazy.

They stated will not honor price match from Adorama because there is no physical store near me! I explained that they are an online retailer. The rep then stated the following are on the online retailers they honor for price match if the customer is not with distance of a physical store:

Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, and TigerDirect.com

I explained that Adorama is the same type of retailer as B&H. She then stated that Adorama is not on their approved list.

Now I did know that B&H price for the laptop is $2129 which is only $30 higher than Adorama's $2099 and since B&H is approved I ask for the price match of $2129. She responded that she would honor the B&H price. So now I have to decide if the 18-month no finance charges period is reason enough for me to pay a higher price plus taxes vs. lower price with no taxes.

depending on where you live in the US, you would be paying around $150 extra as taxes. If you do price match at Best Buy with B&H price and place your order online you can get $70 cash back from the link I sent you earlier. so you are paying extra about $70-80. If you buy at Best Buy you can have your member status upgraded to Elite or Elite Plus with his purchase apart from the 18 months interest free option. These are some advantages buying at Best Buy vs Adorama online. ;)

Any particular reason you can’t wait until you have the money on hand to buy it outright? Why the rush to go deeper in debt?

Financing a depreciating asset isn't usually the best path, unless it’s generating revenue in excess of the finance cost.

I could pay in cash outright but if I can get 0% financing, that's better. I wouldn't finance if I had to pay interest.
[doublepost=1535386012][/doublepost]Ok I went to the Best Buy store and they worked out a great deal for me. Their offer for 0% on laptops is only 12 months. They told me how to get 18 months and I purchased the machine. They also price-matched B&H Photo's price.

Thank you to all who kept me from buying the wrong machine or help me to see that the one I purchased was what I needed. I am very happy!!!!
